I wore this 2 years ago in Greece's equivalent for Halloween school party we had. I'm wearing it again this year since my originality has died (and I always dress either as Charon or as a witch ;p)

Pieces: a)Dress is homesewn by my mother. b) The hat is store bought but I took the purple hair locks from a doll I had and fixed them on with hot glue c) the cloak is a long piece of black lace I used as a curtain in my room (@parent's place) d)the fishnet glove is made out of a net pantyhose :)

Pieces: Modified Grim Reaper cloak, patches and stripe all sewn on by machine. Leaves: Old for Sale signs, duct tape and paint. Hair: Blonde wig, cut and dyed green.

My daughter wanted to be a cowgirl this year, so I made her a pink cowgirl vest, prettified an old hat that I had when I was little and made her a trick-or-treat bag to match. Throw in some boots and blue jeans and *Poof* the cutest little cowgirl this side of the Mississippi!

The robe I made myself, the arms were glued together and then sowed on the main part of the robe so was the hood. The robe itself is a spare graduation robe with the arms removed and the front sown shut. The staff is a stick I found in the woods one day with a lantern I bought along with some string and a sack.

Mielikki] Super Mario Gang
My roommates and I dressed up as Super Mario characters this year. I was Luigi. We made our skirts/overalls, I sewed mine and Warios, and it was my first time sewing in about 10 years from when I had to do it in middle school. I painted the earrings for myself and Wario, I used a fabric marker to color my shoes and we all dyed our own hats.
